One of the reasons could be that people like me appreciate it a lot when blogs and websites don't have adverts splashing all across the screen. Sometimes they are irritating and distracting. I can understand that adverts bring in money to the blog or site creator but more than a many times they are not necessary. I would specially not want an interested reader to drift away to some other post, blog or site even if it comes at the cost of making money.

So there are 2 sides of the coin. Killing adverts is good for readers like me who are looking for specialist information andbad because it cuts of the source of income for the one who might be solely dependent upon it.

thanks for the platform to develop 2 sides of the conversation. i hope you did not merely create this post desiring people to nod their heads in affirmation.

Cheers!
