Guide To Triple AdSense Earnings In 30 Days

I have been using Google AdSense to monetize my freebies website for approximately 12 months. And whilst initially I didn’t make very much, I have learnt different methods and tweaks that have allowed me to increase that to a substantial side income. Whilst the bulk of my income is through affiliate marketing, AdSense has proven to be a nice filler and “pocket money” in a sense which is always handy for bills.

I have started applying some tricks here and there learnt over the past twelve months and have seen a rapid rise in the income generated. In this editorial I want to share with you some of the tips and tricks I used to dramatically increase my AdSense earnings in one month.

Test the Ads with Different Colors and Fonts

If you enabled both image and text ads on your units you should be able to customize the colors and fonts. Make sure that your colors match exactly to the color theme of your website. Research has indicated that readers are much more likely to click through on ads that do not appear to be blatantly intrusive. You just need to track your CTR for a couple of weeks. Then change the color or font and track it for another week, seeing if your earnings increase. If you can, keep the new format. If you the performance decreases, try a new color or font and track the CTR for another week, until you find the optimal combination.

Add Units to all Websites

If you have a number of sites, it’s best to throw AdSense onto the most highly trafficked sites. My main free samples site is averaging close to 100K monthly page views. Initially, revenue was generated only through CPA affiliate marketing. However the advantage about AdSense is revenue is generated per click and no maintenance needs to be done. By adding AdSense I was able to grow my revenue income by 20% on top of what I was earning. So if you don’t have Adsense running on your site already, do so today and see the results.

Place the Units above the Fold

The rule is if you want to make money with Google AdSense, you must place your units above the fold. This is critical. A lot of the time, readers and visitors to your website take in only what is above and fold and do not scroll down the page, so any advertising must hit them where they are at. On my free stuff website, I use the text links 160×600 to compliment the freebies that are being posted. Readers don’t mind the ads as they are always relevant to the freebies that are being posted.

Use these tips to help increase your AdSense traffic. Here’s to you making a good side income.
