Updated: September 12th 2008: I just added some plugins which have proofed to be very useful for my own works. For example Commentluv, which is one of the best ideas I’ve seen so far!

Installing WordPress plugins and updating plugins has become even easier since WordPress 2.7.1. Now you only have to click on Plugins -> Add New, and you will be directed to the plugin installation section of your wordpress blog. You will find two form fields to use for either uploading the plugin from your computer or searching for it on the wordpress.org plugin section. All from within your own dashboard, check the address bar! after uploading or finding your desired plugi, simply click the install button and you are done! To update a plugin, and i recommend to do so regularly, simply go to your wordpress’ blog’s plugin section and click on ‘upgrade automatically’. That ain’t to hard, is it?

I’ve put together a list of WordPress Plugins – My Personal WordPress Plugin Top List – i use on almost every Word Press Blog i install on my web hosting accounts. They all proofed to work fine here without changing any server side settings. Some of the plugins, listed below, might give you a hard time on Free Web Hosting Accounts because of some php restrictions. Sometimes it helps contacting the hosting support. But hey, seriously, who wants to build a business on a free hosting account if you can have the best web hosting account for less than 7 Bucks a month? Remember, you get what you pay for!
