Make an Internet Marketing Plan … and STICK to it!
Once you made the decision to market your product or services online, the first thing you want to do is making an Internet Marketing Plan. Most of those plans , once made and thought through, are being changed over the time of their physical development… and this is exactly what doom’s those plans to failure.
Besides Internet marketing, i also love scuba diving, in fact many of my clients come from the scuba diving industry. One very important sentence i learned during my divemaster trainee time, can be used for Internet Marketing as well: “Make your Plan – Dive your Plan!” This means that once you’re in the middle of your marketing plan, you got to stick to it. Don’t get abstracted. I know it’s easy to get distracted just by looking on what your competitors do, but stay on your path. Note ideas you find down and use them in a follow up campaign but stick to your original plan.
- First of all you need a budget plan. Let’s say, all you have to start with right now, is 200 $US.*
- Second you’ll need to find a niche for your product or service – Find out what people search for.
- Then you need a web hosting account to host your online business. I recommend Blue Host.
- Fourth, you’ll need to setup a Wordpress blog on your new hosting account.
- Search engine optimize (SEO) your blog by following my guidelines in the above article.
- Sign up for a Google Adwords account and get 50$US on free advertising on your new web host.
- Do the same at Yahoo Search Marketing and get another 25 $US on free advertising.
- After you created your blog, create two AdWords Campaigns with two ads each and run them against each other. After a few days keep the good ones and replace the onces with less clicks.
- Bookmark your articles and pages to social bookmarking sites and social networking sites.
- Create back links to your site by socializing in big social networks like blog catalog.
- Write press releases and submit them to free press release centers like 1888 Press Release.
- Disable no follow on your blog to encourage your readers to interact with your blog.
- Request a free evaluation on your work right here on this blog.
- I will personally review your Internet Marketing Strategies!
*About your budget of 200 $US; up to now you have spent either 96 bucks on your web hosting account for one year, or you have spent 168 Bucks on a two years contract. In any case, you got 75 bucks back in free advertising that’s well worth the money. You have your own online presence up and running on the best web hosting company availabe within two days if you take your time and your entitled to a free review of your first Internet marketing attempt.
You have also purchased a domain name for life (included in the web hosting package) and you are also entitled to host as many websites on this account as you like without paying any more money for web space.
And you know what? Your 200 bucks are far from gone! It’s easy; Everybody can do it! Simply take your time to make a good plan and follow it up to the point. If you need help, you know where to find me.

Very good tips. But this kind of process just work if you have a good service, idea or product too. This is the most important part. Without this, you will be just another one on the Internet.
