My First Wordpress Plugin!

My first ever WP Plugin is tribute to www.Scoop.at

I always wanted to crate a Wordpress plugin, being a software developer myself. I started studying how that is done, read quite some pages of information and looked around how others do it. The problem was; what should i build?  My chance came when i started working on my new Koh Tao Magazine in German language. Looking for German language social bookmarking sites to bookmark my new posts and pages, i stumbled over the Austrian social bookmarking website www.scoop.at, a very nicely made SB site similar to Digg it is an easy navigatable social bookmarking site but there was no plugin for Wordpress available.

So i checked again more specifically now, how this could be built. It followed a night of trial and error where i nearly managed to crash my blog, but when the sun came up it was done. WP-ScoopIt was Born! And it works!
