5’500 Back Links over Night
Now how does something like that happen and is it positiv or negativ? Last night i checked my back link count on several search engines and my chaw dropped down. Google had suddenly found hundreds of back links to all of my 25 websites. But that was only Google. Yahoo had found a couple of thousands to each of my websites and Altavista broke the record with 5’570 back links over night on http://www.diveshopsoftware.com.
Now the question is what did i do to deserve seach a golden shower? And is it the golden shower i want? In reality? Nothing, i’ve simply gone down the same lane as always, a couple of linkexchanges each week an article here and an other one there, nothing extraordinary. Yet my link count is still raising and no one knows where it stops.
The Flip Side of the Coin
So why am i not happy and keep my mouth shut? Because the back-fire starts quickly and nobody knows where that is going to stop either. As you cleary can see on the graphic below, the Google back link bot has sacked my behind because of to many links at once which is suspisious. and that is exactly what it is, amaizingly suspisious.
Due to the many different Google bots who spider the websites, the actual fact that this website has got kicked out from the link bot hasen’t affedted the position at all yet which is also quite interesting, since the roumor has gone around that Google has in fact changed it’s aglorithms towards newer content. Therefore Google starts to widely disregard the back links because of the many link farms and useless directories. Read more about the latest changes of the Google algorithms here.
Another Example of Back Link Jumping
Now that is only one website i showed you above, but it happened at all of my websites, so it must go around. One othe website i’d like to show you which showed similar signs this morning is the Hotel Software Website http://hotel-reservationsoftware.com/. Google suudenly finds 112 back links over night, when have i seen that before? Righ, never ever.
