I also tried the award winning support of Lunarpages. I always do that; if there is a late or even no response at all, i can’t recommend a web host to my customers. Especially not if I’m the one who has to deal with it. So I’ve sent a ticket to to the support center to ask about if they have any uptime guarantee, and if this would be server uptime or network uptime. The mail was sent at 13:14, the auto responder dropped in at 13:16 telling me that i will get an answer soon and at 13:34 i had a personal response stating:

We do not have an uptime guarantee although we do experience 99.9% uptime on all servers and network equipment over a 12 month period.

That makes a response time of 20 minutes; I can live with that even without a live chat support. And ‘experience’ 99.9 percent server uptime sounds better to me than any empty promise or guarantee!
